HBA Future Energy has been awarded the EPCI contract for South Korea’s 532 MW Anma Offshore Substation, marking a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion. The project, located 40 km west of the Korean peninsula in Yeonggwang Municipality, will deliver over 1,400 GWh of clean electricity annually—enough to power 1.4 million South Korean homes while avoiding 643,000 tons of CO2 emissions each year.

This contract represents South Korea’s first utility-scale offshore substation and positions HBA as a key player in Asia-Pacific’s offshore wind sector. The project builds on HBA’s four decades of offshore expertise, now leveraged for renewable energy infrastructure.
